Tony Gee assembled a multidisciplinary design team to develop onshore civil infrastructure siting for the proposed 3.6GW generation capacity Ossian Wind Farm.

Tony Gee, alongside the delivery team comprising of Arcus, Johnston Trenchless Solutions, Power Systems and Allelys, worked collaboratively to ensure engineering and constructability was embedded in the project’s civil infrastructure layout from the earliest stages of project development.
Tony Gee’s scope of work included:
- constraints identification and mapping
- infrastructure optioneering studies
- identifying optimal siting of landfall, cable routes, minor and major trenchless solutions
- cable studies
- transport route assessments
- scoping of targeted ground investigation works to appropriately manage ground risk
Our 3D modelling and visualisations allowed the implications of design decisions to be quickly and clearly communicated to the project team at various stages of design development. This facilitated the formation of a project red line boundary to take forward into future studies and phases of development.
