Civil/Structural Design Engineer – St Albans

Tony Gee and Partners is currently recruiting for a Civil / Structural Design Engineer is required to join Tony Gee's growing team in St Albans, Hertfordshire. Job summary

We are looking for candidates with an eye for detail with flexibility to work across projects in the rail, highways and power & energy sectors.

• Reporting directly to a Senior/ Principal Engineer
• Deliver projects to deadlines and budget
• Manage production of CAD models and drawings for projects.

Essential

• You will ideally be experienced in design and build or assessment projects, reinforced concrete and/or steel structures.
• Experienced in structural design for infrastructure projects, having worked in multi-disciplinary teams to modern CAD standards.
• Conversant with Eurocodes
• Progressing to professional qualification with either the Institution of Civil Engineers or Institution of Structural Engineers.

Desirable

• Experience with structural analysis software such as LUSAS or MIDAS
• Experience in applying sector specific standards, e.g., Network Rail standards, DMRB
• Experience in Temporary Works Design

Required Qualifications

• MEng Civil Engineering or equivalent degree
