Chris Young
Chair of the Executive Board
Chris is Chair of the Executive Board with responsibility for governance of the LLP and setting of global strategy, with the Executive Board, for Tony Gee.
He has a background in structures and geotechnical projects and was a core part of the initial formation of the Rail Group within Tony Gee. He established and managed the Stonehouse office until succession to the role of Executive Managing Director in 2018 and now the role of Chair of the Executive Board in 2025.
Chris is passionate about people and the culture of Tony Gee, citing the satisfaction of seeing other people progress and develop as his main interest, achievement and focus within the company. He has been instrumental in growing the company to the size it is now whilst maintaining the agile, technically focused culture that it has always been renowned for.
Chris is a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Fellow of the ICE with nearly 30 years-experience delivering both projects and the strategic development of Tony Gee around the world.
