Tony Gee and Partners is currently recruiting for a Group Director to join our Structures team based in Birmingham.
Tony Gee Birmingham is currently around 50 strong and works across several sectors including rail, highways and temporary works. A number of recent retirements and upcoming planned retirements means that we need a technically capable and client focused Director to form part of the office management team for the future.
The role is hands on in terms of project work and will work collaboratively with others as part of Tony Gee’s “flat” management structure.
The individual will work alongside existing directors in the office to develop the existing capabilities, manage projects and teams and achieve corporate goals.
- The role will take over some the management and day to day running of non rail structures in the office (primarily highways sectors structures) allowing the current director to reduce their input.
- Provide succession of office leadership in conjunction with the other office directors and be part of the team driving the success and development of the office going forward.
- Manage a number of highways sector projects as project director. Noting that this will be a “hands on” role as current Tony Gee culture.
- Help recruit to boost current staff members and then manage and mentor a team. This is expected to be in the region of 10 to 20 people over time.
