Tony Gee and Partners is currently recruiting for a key individual to join our growing Marine team based in any of our UK offices.

Job Responsibilities

  • Promoting a health, safety and welfare culture
  • Working within a team environment
  • Mentoring and coaching talent
  • Supporting Group Director and Regional Director to achieve budget and strategy targets
  • Working closely with business managers on resource management, utilisation monitoring, and pipeline management
  • Developing business
  • Project management and technical delivery of marine schemes and infrastructure projects

Will suit a highly technical, client-facing, hands-on chartered civil engineer with demonstrable expertise in:

  • Coordinating, preparing and supervising tenders, detailed design calculations and analysis of maritime and associated structures
  • Design of port infrastructure/ heavy civils projects experience in steel and reinforced concrete design, port pavement, dock and lock gates, jetties, slipways etc
  • Checking and reviewing of calculations, structural models and drawings produced by design team
  • Managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Good commercial awareness
  • Can clearly communicate technical and non-technical aspects in writing and orally to team members, clients, contractors and stakeholders with necessary empathy for project drivers and objectives
